His Excellency, Amb. Dr. Jonathan Ojadah, the Global President of UNIPGC, has been conferred with the prestigious honour of Shujah (Hero) in the Peace Building category at the Mashujaa Day celebration in Kenya.
This recognition is a testament to his outstanding contributions to advancing peace, good governance, and sustainable development across Africa.
The honour was bestowed upon Dr. Ojadah by the President of Kenya, His Excellency, William Ruto, during the Mashujaa Day celebration held on October 20th, 2025, in Kitui County. Dr. Ojadah is the only foreign recipient among 184 distinguished heroes honored on this occasion.
In his remarks, Dr. Ojadah expressed his humility and gratitude, stating, “Today marks a truly significant moment as Kenya stands as a beacon of unity by bestowing upon me—a Nigerian—its prestigious National Heroes Award in the category of Sustainable Peace Building Heroes.”

Dr. Ojadah also paid tribute to the late Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga, expressing his condolences to the family and joining the Kenyan nation in mourning the loss of this great icon of democracy.
The event was graced by the President of Senegal and the Prime Minister of Mozambique, and Dr. Ojadah was officially decorated with the Medal of Honor by the President of Kenya.
His Excellency, Dr. Mike Mbuvi Sonko, extended his congratulatory message to Amb. Ojadah, praising his dedication to advancing peace and good governance.
This recognition is a significant milestone in Dr. Ojadah’s career, highlighting his tireless efforts to promote peace and development in Africa.
