Mrs Ajose made the assertion at officers’ Mess , Giginya Barracks where she organized a programme to sensitize the wives of Soldiers and Officers as part of the Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL) Week 2025.
She emphasized that women are the strength behind the uniform, serving as caregivers, allies, and voices of peace.
“The strength behind the uniform is a woman. We are the moral and the seed bed of peace. The bridge between the uniform and the civilian life, the caretakers of our families, our communities, and our beautiful country Nigeria,” Mrs. Ajose declared.
She acknowledged the unique diligence, resilience, and sacrifices of women, who educate and build peaceful communities.
“Women have been at the heart of the efforts to educate, ensure hygiene, build peaceful communities, and morals,” Mrs Ajose noted.

She urged women to deepen their impact, expand their reach, and support one another.
“Let us pledge to deepen our impact. Expand our hands and raise each other. Together, we build a safer, healthier, more hopeful, and peaceful barracks and nation, for we are the strength behind the uniform,” she said.
