The Sokoto State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated its committee for the forthcoming elective National Convention, scheduled for November 15 and 16, 2025 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The committee, comprising dedicated and seasoned party members, was inaugurated by the State Chairman, Hon. Muhammadu Bello Aliyu Goronyo, in Sokoto.
The Chairman charged the members to ensure the party’s interests are protected and advanced during the national convention.
According to a statement issued by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal, the committee is expected to work assiduously to ensure the successful participation of delegates from Sokoto State in the convention.
The committee is headed by PDP State Organising Secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Chika Shuni, with Assistant State Secretary, Alhaji Mustapha Lanas Gidadawa, serving as Secretary.
Other members include Hon. Abubakar Magaji, Alhaji Abdullahi Kiryo Yabo, Barrister Abdulrahaman Abubakar, Alhaji Nasiru Shehu Kware, Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal, Alhaji Bello Mai Karfi, and Atiku Muhammad Yabo.
