IT is said that ‘when two elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers’. In the ‘fight’ of words that has raged between the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, and the Deputy Senate President, Jibrin Barau, the grass (Nigerian Citizens), will laugh, and NOT suffer, for it.
THE bone of contention is the US President Donald Trump’s FALSE allegation that Nigerian Christians are being massacred by Muslim fundamentalists, essentially the Boko Haram CRIMINALS, most of whom are irreligious pagans, anyway.
THE quarrel by the two top most Senators came at a time a GROWING DISCONTENT in the Senate is being expressed by some God-fearing Senators who feel that the Nigerian Senate under the leadership of Akpabio, is NOT serving Nigerian citizens, BUT President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
IT must be clearly understood though, that Senator Godswill Akpabio is NEVER independent in his THINKING. He ALWAYS does what the president DEMANDS of him, which he BLINDLY does, so as to EARN illegal money and power in the country.
BESIDES, He comes from an area that has NO LOVE, RESPECT and TOLERANCE for Hausa/Fulani, and the religion of most of them. RECALL that during his previous calling as a minister of Nigeria Delta Affairs, he allegedly ORDERED a female MD of the COMMISSION to illegally SACK a Hausa/Fulani Director of Finance of the place for being a NORTHERNER. She FLATLY refused, which led to her SACKING from the post.
OF course, there are other Christian religious BIGOTS who are hands in arms with the Senate president, in viewing Hausa/Fulani as the problem of Nigeria, forgetting that there are none Muslims among them.
THEY and their type quickly run to Christian Western countries like US, UK, and France, to FALSELY claim that Christians in Nigeria are being massacred by Muslim fundamentalists. But the TRUTH, if those countries are INTERESTED, is that Muslims are massacred in greater numbers by the pagan outlaws than Christians. Muslims are even MURDEROUSLY TARGETED when they are saying their prayers.
THE ‘MEN OF GOD’ among them then urged for their country to be militarily ‘saved’ from the Muslims, before they finally REQUEST for FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, so that they may return to Nigeria and repair the damage done by the Muslims. There are many of them, some of whom are WORLD INFAMOUS for their ‘ISLAMIZATION’ battle cry, even though they live COMFORTABLY undisturbed in the HEART of the Muslim Northern Nigeria.
NOT that the Muslim ‘MEN OF GOD’ are themselves INNOCENT of running to foreign countries for financial assistance. What they DO NOT do is call for the MILITARY ATTACK of their country. Their ‘CRY’ is always that they want to CONVERT none Muslims into the religion, so they need LOGISTICAL and financial assistance to do that.
THE countries, mostly MIDDLE EASTERN, quickly obliged to the ‘requests’ with substantial amounts of money to do the necessary things in the countries of the requesters. To convince the donors, the Muslim clerics print the names of the donors on a few of the purchases they made, and send same to them. The largest chunk of the money they convert to themselves.
WHEN one visits them in their, often, palatial houses, they live like a KING lives. Their breakfast, their lunch, and their dinner are like a king’s; ALL in many COURSES of choice dishes in the country. Yet, they are ‘MEN OF GOD’, whose many followers can hardly afford one meal a day.
THE Deputy Senate President, Senator Jibrin Barau, is not a saint himself. He wants to be the next governor of his home state at the cost of the North.
SUCH people forget that there has to be a country FIRST, for them to live, before rushing to other countries seeking for assistance’.
TO wit, the rulers can ONLY rule a LIVING (EXISTING) country, NOT a nation that lives only in a vacuum.
May God make Nigeria outlive its enemies, whether they are in or without its borders.
