2027: Group to Mobilize Seven Million Voters for Atiku in North-West 

•Strategizes against voter apathy

A political group, ADC Waziran Waziri 2027, have pledged to mobilize Seven million voters for the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the North-West, while emphasizing on the desire to curb voter apathy in the region.

The group which issued a statement signed by Hon Hisham Habib the convener and Mohammed Buhari Yunusa, said it has embarked on a mission to encourage people who have given up on Nigeria and especially the electoral process to take a second look and rally round the reliability of the Wazirin Adamawa of the African Democratic Party.

It further explained that the north west region has the highest number of votes and the attitude towards election is unimpressive adding that people’s confidencein the system needs to be restored.

“We are working to alleviate the nonchalant attitude of the people especially those who are eligible to vote and ignore their fundamental right by talking to the grassroots to join the coalition that will positively change the narrative” the statement said.

The movement also berated the APC led government of President Tinubu on mischievous economic policies that translates to severe hardship on Nigerians adding that the devaluation of the currency has not brought the promised prosperity but made investors scared of the insecurity and inconsistency in the government.

It argued that he northwest region has suffered in recent time with major economic sectors like agriculture and mining reduced to the lowest level and the lackadaisical approach the government is taking has not produced the desired results.

The Waziran Waziri will comb the seven states in the region with the mission to galvanize support for Atiku while demystifying the misconceptions and falsehoods being spread on the coalition and the African Democratic Congress according the statement.
